Description:
Browning's famed BLR Lever-Action Rifle has been given the prestigious White Gold Medallion treatment, resulting in a rifle that looks just as good as it shoots. The grade-IV/V walnut stock and Schnabel fore end sport an eye-catching gloss finish, and are topped off with rosewood caps and checkering on the fore end and grip. An aircraft-grade-aluminum side-eject receiver comes drilled and tapped for scope mounts, and its nickel finish and high-relief engraving complement the high-grade stock and fore end. The polished, stainless steel barrel features adjustable sights and a crowned muzzle to protect the rifling. Classic lever action revolves around a smooth rack-and-pinion system and a rotating-head, multiple-lug breech bolt. A detachable magazine adds a modern touch to this timeless rifle, allowing it to fire round-nose ammunition for increased accuracy. Crisp 4.5-lb. trigger, smooth lever and deluxe recoil pad make the BLR a dream to shoot. Hammer positions include fully cocked, half-cocked and fired for easy verification. Pre-installed swivel studs accept most rifle slings.
