WINCHESTER MODEL 1876 LEVER ACTION .45-75 CAL. 28” OCTAGON BARREL RIFLE CIRCA 1884. Serial numbered in the 53,xxx range. Scarce full octagon barrel with special order button magazine. Original Winchester Elevator rear and nickel blade front sights. Winchester address and patent dates fully visible on the top flat. Very handsome early refinish-probably factory and looks like it was done in the late 1800’s or early 1900’s at the latest. 95% blue remaining and nearly all the slightly fading case colors remain on the lever, hammer and butt plate. Excellent screw heads. Original walnut stock and forend with all the varnish. Perfect working order and brilliant, very near mint bore. Looks very close to factory original
