The Model 27 was the most popular of all Hamilton rifles. This is the later Model 27  with the 1907 patent date. The HAMILTON RIFLE No.27.22cal. Patented Oct.30 1900,-Aug.13, 1907 Mfd. by C.J Hamilton and Son. Plymouth, Mich.U.S.A. SPECIFICATIONS: Action type: Tip-up barrel Weight: 2 1/2 lbs. Caliber: .22 rim fire Length: 30 inches Barrel length: 15 inches Mfd. Dates: 1906-1930 App. Mfd.: 500,000. Bore has visible rifling. Brown patina with traces of original blue showing through. Front of the rear sight is missing. Replacement screw holding stock on. Wood is not bad. Some light dings. A good entry level Hamilton.
