A very interesting gun. I have known this gun for probably 40 years. Myself and other experts in the field felt it was 100% original. This gun came from a large prestigious Eastern collection. As it turns out, it has been re-done.  The blue looks terrific. The case colors are outstanding. Wood shows no signs of work done. It has a high gloss lacquer finish, sharp checkering and 3X grade wood. Vivid case colors on the buttplate. Receiver retains 95% bright vivid case colors. Barrel and mag tube retain virtually all the blue with some flaking on the barrel bands. No wear to the checking. I don't know of a better looking saddle ring carbine in this class! This gun is worth every penny even being re-finished. Comes with a Factory Letter.
