NICE CIVIL WAR COLT U.S. MODEL 1860 PERCUSSION .44 CAL. ARMY REVOLVER W/HOLSTER CIRCA 1862. All matching (42,xxx serial range) and original except the wedge screw which is a correct replacement. Even the wedge number matches. Extra nice original grey metal patina with excellent markings including a visible cylinder scene. Excellent original grips with lightly worn but visible U.S. Ordnance Sub-inspector’s cartouche at base of the left flat. Perfect working order and excellent bore and chambers. Old associated Civil War military holster with field replacement flap. Serial numbered in the range of 1860 Armies issued to units of the Ohio and Illinois U.S. Volunteer Cavalry.
