BELT MODEL PEPPERBOX CA. 1840’S-50’S. 8” o/a with 3” six shot barrel group stamped “ ALLEN & THURBER/WORCESTER.” Hammer stamped “ALLEN’S PATENT/1845”. All original and complete with original patina. Frame with the original factory floral scroll engraving. Original walnut brips with most of the original finish. Perfect working order with all the original nipples in good condition. Excellent bores. Far above average for one of these Mexican War and Gold Rush era favorites.
