Up for your consideration is a beautiful W.W. Greener side by side shotgun manufactured in 1912. This hand made English shotgun was regarded as one of the highest quality firearms of its day and to this very day that quality shows. With beaufitul Walnut furniture and hand engraving with a deep rich blue finish. This gun is a sight to behold and is in excellent condition with little wear and imperfections given its over 100 years old! The 30in barrels are in excellent condition, with sharp edges and wonderful engraving. The bores are mint condition with some signs of being shot but are shiny clear and straight with no pitting, and no frosting. Exterior of the barrels is also excellent with a deep blue finish untouched by the century since its manufacture, only one spot near the muzzle where the blue has either faded slightly or the gun wased into something. The reciver is equally mint with beautiful hand scroll engraving and a deep, rich blue finish. All serial numbers are correct and matching. There are many cartouches and markings on the water table and underlugs of the barrels. All of which are period correct for not only this model but for W.W. Greener as well. The stock again is a thing of beauty and checkering on both it, and the fore end are excellent with sharp lines and little signs of wear. The side mounted safety works flawlessly as do all other functions on this timeless English beauty. The gun uses extractors a common sight on guns from this era.
