Description:
This is a US Model 1942 M1 Garand 16" PAL manufactured and 1943 dated bayonet and M3 scabbard. Overall length is 20 1/2" with a 15 15/16" single edged blade with false edge and fuller. Blade has been very lightly sharpened, been reparkerized and has a spot of rust/corrosion with some pinpricks of pitting around the periphery. Ricasso is marked "PAL/FLAMING BOMB/US/1943" Grips are black bakelite with striations that have good texture. Scabbard has a green plastic body and metal throat marked "US" inside a "FLAMING BOMB".
