Description:
Ferlib (Libero Ferraglio) 12 gauge boxlock ejector, cased in a Brady case with accessories.
Barrels are finished in a very nice plumb brown color, 27-5/8 inches long and are choked improved cylinder and modified. Lockup is via double underlugs with side clips. There are some minor handling marks on the barrels.
Receiver is coin finished with 100% coverage of fine scroll and a small panel with a buck on one side and two doe on the other.
Stock is well figured and measures 14-1/2 LOP, 1-5/8 DAC and 2-3/8 DAH. There is a very well executed 1 inch extension fitted. A prior owner informs me that the stock extension was performed by James Flynn. There is a repaired crack in on the right side of the stock where it meets the receiver. The repair was performed by ACGG member Craig Libhart. The stock head was glass bedded at the time the crack was repaired. See the photos. There are some minor handling marks on the stock.
The gun weighs 6 pounds 3 ounces if my notes are correct.
Ferlib was a very high quality maker and made only a small number of guns annually. This would be a lovely grouse or preserve pheasant gun.
