Colt 1911A1 US Army .45ACP semi automatic service pistol, with the frame dated to 1941, and the slide dated to 1943. This pistol features the classic 1911A1 design and controls, with a parkerized finish and brown plastic checkered grips panels. The frame has been identified as a Colt frame from 1941, and the slide is an Ithaca Gun Co. slide/barrel assy. dated to 1943. The pistol is in great working order with a smooth action, nice bore and excellent trigger. Some finish wear and small blemishes are present, in addition to a small crack in the left grip panel, as shown in the photos. Please refer to the photos to further assess the condition of the pistol. A wonderful example of a WWII 1911A1! No handgun sales in MA.
