Rare Browning B-78 manufactured in 1977. Chambered in .243 Winchester, this rifle is 1 of 671 produced in that caliber. This rifle is in excellent condition and features a round medium taper barrel, lever activated falling block action, no sights and deluxe checkered wanut stock. This Browning retains approximately 95-98% of its original high polish blue finish with a few scattered handling marks present. The bore of the 26" barrel is bright with sharp rifling. The stock is is also in excellent condition with scattered handling marks and the browning grip cap emblem is missing. The stock's checkering is sharp and the factory recoil pad is still present. The rifle comes with the original Browning factory scope bases and rings. Sorry no box or paperwork. This a very classy version of John Browning's famous 1885 Hi Wall rifle in a rare production caliber.
