Description:
.32-20 (WCF) caliber, RARE 30" full octagon barrel and full magazine. Finished blue with casehardened hammer, lever, and buttplate. Plain stocks. Beach folding front sight and sporting folding tang sight. The barrel retains much of the original blue with the magazine having blue mixing with brown. The receiver has considerable original blue with some areas of thinning turning a pleasing brown patina. Very nice original wood with some minor handing marks but appears free damage or repairs. Excellent bore. Serial number 98639. Factory records indicate it is shipped Sept. 5, 1898. The rifle is listed as Caliber .32, Barrel Type octagon, Barrel Length 30", Trigger plain. The rifle is accompanied by it's factory letter.
