New in the Box...Colt Government 1911 series Competition Pistol...Colt's upgrade Competition Series is a good fit...It is a full-sized Government 1911 with a five-inch Colt National Match Barrel, secured with a tightly-fitted barrel bushing and using a double recoil system with standard recoil spring guide...The slide is round top ,with a flat slide and standard rear cocking serrationa...The dust cover is clean with no rails...The Frame features a smooth front and undercut trighger guard...There is no extened magazine well; just the normat 1911 bevel...Mainspring housing is flat and grooved...The grip safety is the up swept style with the proper cut out for the rouns hammer...The controls are single left side and checked magazine release, slide stop and extended combat-style thumb safety...The grip pannels are Colt's checked G10 with a scollop right behind the magazine release...The sights consist of a fully-adjustable Novak rear with a Novak fiber optic front sight...What sets these new models apart from previous Competition Series is that the series 80 firing system is gone...It's been replaced with the Series 70 firing system much beloved by 1911 fans...The trigger is the wide Series 70 three-hole aluminum mode...Colt Original Blue Hard Case numbered to the Gun....Manual...Lock...Extra Magazine...Spare Fiber Optic part...Nice Holster...Personal Check or Money Order...Layawy Available shipping and Insurance $ 35.00
