Description:
In technical terms this would be the S&W Safety Hammerless New Departure Top Break Revolver in caliber 32 S&W Short. Superb condition S&W with all nickel remaining. A couple of light spots of freckling. The Bicycles had a 2 barrel. This one has a near perfect bore. The pivot pin and everything is solid and tight. This gun is even possibly un-fired. Case colors remain on the trigger. A set of Mother of Pearl grips. No medallion. Not sure if these are factory or not. This gun comes with the box. This is the S&W pea-green box. On the label is “New 32 Departure”. Inside the lid is all the directions. Box is in relatively good condition but the binding holding the two halves has let loose. For as old as this box is it is quite unique. Also there is a cleaning rod and brush that are later manufactured. The Bicycle Gun is very rare and to find one in this condition is nearly unheard of.
