This rifle is in as-issued, unaltered condition and shows absolutely no evidence of ever going through a government re-arsenal program. This outstanding M1 Garand has a barrel date of “SA 1-53,” a mint bore, a throat erosion reading of 3.25, and a muzzle wear reading of 1.75. An excellent, eminently collectible rifle and a great shooting rifle as well.
