Description:
Springfield M1 Garand, Cal. .30-06, . Ser.. 442097XX. Barrel dated 11-43. This is a lovely M1 has retained about 95-96 of the original Parkerized finish. The only loss there is, is due some slight sharp edge silvering the usual slide rails and action rod movement. The very dark walnut stock assembly has several small nicks and dings but no splits or chips missing. The left side is correctly stamped with a Boxed S A, JLG inspectors mark and the pistol grip a Circle Serif P. The butt does have a rack number 47 stenciled in white. The barrel has been gauged 1+ for the muzzle and 2+ for the throat. The bore is mirror bright with razor sharp rifling. Not a touch of frost anywhere. It just get much better than that. It comes with a signed tag for the barrel readings, two cartridge enblocs and a CMP Certificate of Authenticity. All of our guns have been examined and upgraded when possible.
