Antique Smith & Wesson Model 1 1/2, 2nd Variation, originally had nickel finish, with birds head rosewood grips, 3.5" barrel, caliber 32 Rimfire, matching serial #s (53981) and assembly numbers (on breech and cylinder), correct single line barrel address and all correct parts. Tight hinge and latch with no wobble. Nice rosewood grips with just minor marks, never cleaned/sanded/refinished. Frame shows just traces of the original nickel in the protected areas, otherwise has turned an even patina. Barrel is deep patina with some traces of original nickel. Good bore with strong rifling and typical light scattered roughness associated with these antiques. Nice, unfooled with antique S&W revolver.
