Description:
This is a very attractive Browning Magnum Twelve Model A5 shotgun in excellent all-original condition made in 1996.  The Magnum Twelve Model A5 made by Miroku of Japan for Browning is an extremely well-made shotgun with excellent fit and finish that features the ability to fire both 2.75" and 3" inch Magnum 12 gauge shells including those with steel shot for waterfowl.  The Magnum Twelve features a high gloss factory blue finish, a gold finished trigger, a checkered deluxe Walnut stock set with factory installed recoil pad, and the Invector Plus choke tube system.  This particular Magnum Twelve has obviously been used very little and has spent most of it's life in storage.  The high gloss blue factory finish is beautiful and clean, rating 98% with no finish wear or major handling marks.  We had to look extremely close to find some tiny little spots in the finish that were worth taking a 2% deduction.  The bore in the 28" vent rib barrel is pristine, mirror-bright with no pitting, dents, bulges, or imperfections.  The factory stock set also rates 98%.  The checkered Walnut stock is beautiful and free from any cracks, chips, or repairs.  Only under close inspection can you find a few tiny little storage/handling dings.  The factory clearcoat is 100% intact, glossy, and crystal clear.  The checkering on the forearm and wrist is still crisp and clean with no soiling or visible wear.  The factory installed recoil pad is perfectly fit to the butt and nice and tight to the wood.  All of the controls on this Browning Magnum Twelve are in perfect working order and the internals are just as clean as the exterior.  The only negatives that we can list about this gun is that it only comes with 1 factory choke tube (Modified), and that if the new owner wants to shoot 3" Magnum shells or high-velocity steel shells they will need to order two friction rings for the recoil system.  Midwest Gun Works, among others, have them for $7.50 each.  These are removed from the system when firing 2.75" shells, and the previous owner probably stored them with the rest of the choke tubes, which were all subsequently lost.  If you have been looking for a beautiful and classy automatic shotgun to hunt with or shoot sporting clays, this 1996 Browning Magnum Twelve A5 would be the perfect choice.  It is certainly a shotgun that you can be proud of whether you are in the duck and goose blind or at the sporting clays course.
