Description:
Up for sale today is a US Springfield M1903 serial no. 675401 (1917 production) chambered in caliber .30-06. This excellent original M1903 has outstanding original finish on both metal and wood components. The rifle has a barrel date of “SA 11-17,” a mint bore, a throat erosion reading of 1.0 and a muzzle wear reading of 1.5. Of special note is that this rifle shows a Lyman Model 48 sight, popular with National Match shooters of a bygone era. A beautiful rifle and a capable shooter as well.
