Description:
A very nice, clean Ishapor Enfield Mark 3 in 303 caliber, serial #.2628xx.(First "2" may be a "P" -.marks faded by factory rebuild). Metal parts faded blue. "DTE" (Ishapor) Impressed on stock. Non-matching parts because rifle was overhauled at factory...original issue date earlier but not known. Bore is shiny and crisp. Stock has minor handling dings but no cracks; two small areas in top of handguard behind rear sight inlaid in with replacement wood. Correct canvas sling probably issued at overhaul. An excellent shooter and historic piece. The Indian armories made good-quality Mark 3's.
