If you have been looking for a super-clean and all-original early production Ruger Redhawk for your collection here is your chance. This is a 1982 production example (2nd year) with a 7.5" inch barrel in excellent condition. This Ruger has likely spent the majority of it's life in storage and appears to have been fired very very little. The stainless steel finish on this gun is beautiful and rates 98% with the only deductions coming from a faint drag line around the cylinder and a few tiny handling/storage marks visible only under close inspection. The bore in the 7.5" barrel is pristine and bright with no pitting, erosion, or imperfections visible. The rifling still looks brand-new with sharp well-defined lands and grooves. The 6-shot cylinder bores are equally as clean with no defects. The original smooth reddish-brown hardwood grips are in excellent condition like the gun, with both sides being free from cracks, chips, repairs, or wear. The action on this Redhawk is amazing, super smooth and precise. It is perfectly "in time" and the cylinder locks up nice and tight. The trigger is exceptional for a factory gun, particularly in single-action operation where the trigger breaks with a light pull with no grit or excessive travel. All of the controls on this 1982 Redhawk are in perfect working order, including the adjustable rear sight. This is just an exceptional example of this fine Ruger revolver that would be an excellent addition to any collection, as well as a fine hunting handgun in .44 Magnum.
