Virginia Manufactured 1st Model Flintlock Musket. Approximately 14,100 of the first models were manufactured from 1802-1809. Lock plate is dated 1809. Metal has a gray patina. Stock has old repairs on two cracks, one under the lock plate and the other on the right side of the barrel tang. A great example of early state firearms!
