Description: Serial #705932, .22 LR, 21 3/4" barrel with a fine, bright bore that has a small amount of freckling within the grooves. This is a ca. 1930s rifle with the metal retaining about 50-60% of the original blue with the balance turned to a mild plum-brown patina. There is some mild silvering at the muzzle, as well as on the magazine tube. The metal also exhibits some even freckling along the tops of the receiver and barrel. The grooved walnut forend and straight grip buttstock have been nicely refinished to fine shape with few handling marks and an intact original hard rubber buttplate. This is a nice little .22 Remington and rates very good plus condition overall.
