Description:
Colt 1877 Lightning Model, double action revolver, .38 caliber, 2 ½” barrel. The nickel plated mostly gone from many long years of reliable service. Still strong reliable action, all matching serial numbers 12516 manufactured in 1878 second year of production. The outstanding feature of this Lightning is the near perfect MOTHER OF PEARL grips, no chips no cracks and no flacks. All markings are clear and readable though the etched panel is faded. The bore is bright with strong rifling.
Included with this revolver is an original cartridge belt and holster, that likewise has provide long years of service as witnessed wear and repair that it shows. My cartridges are not included.
