Description:
This is a NIB Colt Single Action Army revolver chambered for the desirable .44 special cartridge, with a 7 1/2" barrel, blue and case colored finish, with eagle hard rubber grips. This gun is factory new in every respect, unfired, unturned. It comes with its plastic wrapper, various papers, its original brown box with styrofoam insert, as well as a loose-leaf document from the original owner indicating he bought it from Bills House of guns on August 3, 1978 for $281.45. The box is in very good shape, only scuffing marks, and with ends and flaps intact. While the gun is just about as factory new as something like this can get, this gun shows less than perfect workmanship from the factory i.e. the cylinder is overstamped with its serial number and one digit too many, there is a lack of high-finish polishing on a small area on the right side of the triggerguard near the frame, and one frame screw sticks out of the frame a little further than I'd prefer. These are all minor distractions but for a Colt, wanted to point them out. Shipping and insurance via UPS will be $40 to your FFL. Please make sure your FFL will provide their license to me as I will ship directly, but not to a state that requires the gun to be shipped FROM an FFL. such as California, perhaps New Jersey, etc.
