This extremely clean 1993-vintage customized Colt Model 1991A1 Compact has certainly been someone's pride and joy. It appears that no expense was spared customizing this Colt 1991A1 Compact, as all of the custom parts are top quality pieces. Starting with a standard 1991A1 Compact with a factory gloss blue finish made in 1993, the previous owner added a stainless steel full-length guide rod and barrel bushing, a Millett adjustable target-style rear sight, a stainless steel extended slide-stop, a stainless steel oversized and extended thumb safety, an alloy adjustable target-style trigger, a stainless steel skeletonized hammer, and a set of beautiful genuine Stag grips. All of these parts were perfectly hand-fit to the pistol, and the Colt was given a match-quality trigger job. As you can see in the pictures, this gun is in excellent condition and has likely been fired a handful of times at most. All of the controls on this Colt are in 100% perfect working order. It comes with the original factory box with an intact end-label serial numbered to the gun, the factory plastic case, and all of the paperwork that it left the factory with in 1993. If you have been looking for a unique custom carry pistol that is both attractive and in excellent condition, this customized Colt 1991A1 Compact would be a great choice. It is certainly one-of-a-kind, and we have no doubt that it will be a reliable and excellent shooter.
