Description:
Parker Bros. "OT" grade 12 gauge top lever hammer gun.Built in 1892 on a #1 frame,this gun has 30" twist steel barrels choked full .035" and full .035".The bore diameter in each barrel is .736".The barrels lock up tight with no looseness or play.The top lever is the "fishtail"design.This gun is in excellent all original condition.The receiver retains 60% of the original case colors.The barrels retain at least 90% of the twist pattern.The barrel walls have a minimum thickness of .030",so this gun is safe to shoot with light loads.The bores are very good with a little very light pitting near the muzzle of the right barrel.The stock is sound and free of any cracks or damage.There is a social security number engraved on the forend iron and the barrel flat.Neither shows when the gun is assembled.This gun is classified as an antique and can be shipped direct.
