SUPERIOR DUTCH MODEL 71/78 BEAUMONT-VITALI 11X52R CAL. INFANTRY RIFLE CA. 1880’S. Serial numbered in the 2xxx range on the barrel at the left breech. All original and matching 3 digit bolt assembly numbers which are correctly different from the serial number. Nice markings and stamped on receiver with maker “P. STEVENS/MAASTRICHT”. Superior condition for one of these. Excellent metal with old dried grease and finger print patina. Stock with all the original finish and nice inspector’s cartouches on the left side of the butt. Perfect working order and brilliant very near mint bore. Original cleaning rod. Prime example.
