Description:
This is a very lightly used Fox Sterlingworth in 16 gauge. I have no way of measuring bore diameter but I was told it was choked Improved Cylinder and Modified and the barrels are 26 inches in length. Gun weighs an amazing 5.59 pounds on certified scale. It has a Pachmayr Old English pad and LOP is 14 3/4 inches to front trigger. In addition this little Fox sports a cool round bottom pistol grip ala Browning in its hayday. The gun is super clean inside and shows much less than normal wear outside. Barrel blue is near 100 % and is original. I believe the butt stock may (?) be an old refinish and the forearm is original with some varnish flaking. Stock measurements are much more in line for todays shooters needs than the older fox guns. They measure 1 3/8 inch drop at comb and 2 1/4 inch drop at heel. Overall a very nice, tight, desirable light weight shotgun. Will ship in the lower 48 states for $40.00
