I do not claim to be an expert so if any of my research is wrong let me know. These came out of a closed gun shop.
Fits 3/4" tube Lyman Targetspot and Super Targetspot scopes. Micrometer click, front mount uses the square male guide rib on the top of the scope tube. (These will fit other 3/4" scopes that need the top square male rib system). The mounting blocks & screws are included. Some small spots of rust & light pitting. Need cleaning. Nice firm clicks when adjusted. The Lyman Junior Targetspot 8x rifle scope is one of the few scopes authorized for CMP National Vintage Sniper Matches at Camp Perry. From WW1 the Marines have always built their own sniper rifles. From 1937 to 1941 the Marines used Lyman Junior TargetSpot 8x and Unertl 8x target scopes to build 1903 Springfield Sniper Rifles on pre 1941 actions. No recoil spring, which is the correct USMC configuration. Recoil springs are not approved for Vintage Matches .
