Description:
Up for sale is a very nice Merkel Model 47E. This fine double is chambered in 12 Ga and the barrels are 28” long and features a 3” chamber. The Chokes are Fixed, IC, and Mod. The receiver is finished in traditional case hardening and engraved with fine scroll. The length of pull is 14.5” from the front trigger to the butt plate. The bluing remains in excellent condition as well as the wood. There is a lot of desirable features that do not come on new ones, like side clips and cocking indicators. This fine double comes with the original box and papers. This has seen little to no use and was clearly someone’s pride and joy. Thanks for looking.
