Description:
Remington Rolling Block single shot Sporting rifle, 45-70 cal.. Custom made by Kenny Howell. All new parts mounted on an original antique action and trigger guard. The Rolling Block design is one of the strongest and safest actions ever produced and was subsequently used all over the world. Restocked with a nicely figured walnut straight grip stock and forearm with the classic metal Remington nose cap. The action is fit to a 30" half round half octagon barrel. The action and nose cap are case colored. This gun is in overall as new condition showing no wear. The bore is bright and shinny new. The main feature is the single set trigger making a very clean break. The butt stock shows amazingly beautiful fiddle back grain. The lower tang shows the original serial number and the upper tang has been drilled and tape for a tang sight. The length of pull is 13 1/2 inches with a Hepburn style butt plate.
