(SOLD)Smith and Wesson Hi-way Patrolman (pre model 28) 357 magnum revolver. This is a rare find to get one in this condition. Appears unfired but you be the judge by the pictures. S prefix serial number puts this 5 screw revolver date to 1954. Box is solid in all 4 corners and only has a small tear in the thumb cut out on the side. All serial numbers match on the barrel, frame and cylinder. Oil pen number correct on the bottom of the box. The ONLY distraction at all on this is that the owner inscribed his ID numbers on the frame under the grip. The grips must be removed to even notice this. I removed the grips to see if they were numbered to the gun and they ARE. Please add $40 shipping and insurance to your FFL or C&R.
