#122337, Winchester 300 H&H Pre-64 Model 70 Barreled Action Custom Bolt Rifle, The barreled action made by Winchester in 1949 in 300 H&H, 26" factory barrel with their integral front ramp with a sight protector, Model 70 wing safety, Model 70 trigger, Standard Model 70 floorplate and trigger guard, Swarovski 3-10 x 42 mounted in Leupold type bases & rings, 4 panel teardrop bolt knob checkering with engraving that is extremely well done, A nice custom stock with a very nice piece of Bastogne Walnut, Very nice checkering in somewhat of a fleur-de-lis style, Shadowline cheekpiece, Steel grip cap, Sling eyes on the stock, 14" LOP over a 1" Decelerator pad, 8 lbs. 12 oz., The bore is excellent plus, The metal reblued and remains at 92%, The stock is at 95%, The wrap around checkering is at 100%, I can assure you this was not the stockers first attempt at custom stocking a bolt rifle. It has nice workmanship along with the checkering being very well cut and very professionally laid out. It is not easy to do over the top grip checkering; this is well done.
