Cylinder with early 1855 and 1859 patent dates. 3 ¼” barrel with “SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MASS.” Address. Very good to fine with brass frame having 80-90% original silver plate. Barrel a grey patina. Walnut grips with the original finish. Working order but cylinder does not always register correctly.
