W.&C. SCOTT & SON. 12 Ga. SxS Fully Engraved Custom Leather Case
This piece has a fully engraved receiver, in old English Scroll, and has a High Grade English Walnut straight stock and forend, checkered at about 24 lines per inch. The length of pull is 14-3/4”. Drop at the comb is 1-1/2”. Drop at the heel is 1-3/4”. Drop to the toe is 7”. The butt is padded with a leather covered recoil pad. Barrels are 28 inch, choked at improved cylinder and modified. 2-3/4 inch chambers. Just above the square cross bolt hole in the tang, on top of the rib it is marked “SCOTT IMPROVED BOLT”. The right barrel is marked “W. & C. SCOTT & SON SHAFTESHURY AVENUE” Left barrel marked “ LONDON ENGLAND “. Barrels are also marked “NITRO PROOF SHOT 1 ¼ OZ. MAXM.” AND 12/C IN A DIAMOND. Barrels ring nicely. Silver bead front sight. Serial number 70235. Side lock, double triggers, automatic ejectors. The piece also includes a fitted, leather covered, felt lined carrying case.
