French/Belgian Double barrel Over/Under Percussion Pistol, engraved backaction locks and cap box in bottom of grip. 1840-1850 era, 8 inch barrels 15 inches overall. Bbl, frame, hammers all iron. This gun has a distinctive iron ramrod; triggerguard and butt cap box are German silver, Belgian proofs on bbl. Condition: metal is clean with almost no rust or corrosion. Wood has an attractive grain with a few tiny dings, etc. in the stock. Both locks work fine and lock up at both half cock and full cock, have separate triggers. Over all nice piece in fine condition.
