This one is a bit of an anomaly as it bears a resemblance and layout to a model of 1917 revolver though lacks the U.S.. Government markings that are often found. An interesting proof mark is included in one of the images displayed, implying this may have been a foreign contract gun. The revolver has a hole in the grip for a lanyard loop implying further that it was used or meant for a military purpose.
