Description:
Randall Model # 12-11" Smithsonian Bowie from 1955. Brass lugged guard with "L" shaped extended quillions, India Sambar stag antler handle, brass butt cap. Original H.H. Heiser dark brown button leather scabbard with stone in hone pocket. From another era, this particular model is in an immaculate, pristine, brand new condition; a time capsule indeed. This is a spectacular piece seen and offered in an absolute flawless knife made when Randall started to offer Bowie type knives ( 1953) going back to only few years before this particular model was produced. Like all listed Randall Made Knives, this model is in an exceptional condition. Its scarcity is due to its exceptional exquiste appearnce in workmanship. The soldering of the guard where blade meets is flawless. As with all others listed Randall Bowies, these are the finest that can be find anywhere in today's market.
