Description:
Randall Model # 12-11" Smithsonian Bowie, chrome plated blade from the late 60's which was completed in 1972. Brass ribbed back edge feature brazed on top of blade. Solid one piece Brazilian rosewood grip,(cracks-free) scalloped brass collar, unusual extra large and thick brass lugged guard that is 4-5/8" in length with "L" shaped extended quillons,(most are between 3-7/8" and 4" in length only) brass name plate, scalloped flanged brass butt cap. Contained in the original dark brown rough back Johnson leather scabbard with correct sharpening stone. Knife bears few shop forging marks on blade. Exquisite knife from another era-a time capsule in a gorgeous, and exceptional condition.
