The most impressive, spectacular and stunning Smithsonian Bowie you'll ever seen. This is rare and unique 1988 production. Handle material was extremely expensive due to its size back then (3-1/4" X 3"-1/8" by 6" as it was a large block) Weighs over 3 Lbs! Picture # 11 shows the huge difference with another handle that is considered to be very large. As with all newly listed Randall Bowies knives, the scarcity of this specimen along with all others, is reflected in the lack of similar Bowies that are far to be in the astonishing and exquiste pristine condition as all these knives are. Rarity, condition, uniqueness and flawless construction makes for a very valuable and prized knife as this is valid for guns. These are the finest Randall Bowies that can be find anywhere in today's market. Picture # 11 shows the difference in size between a scalloped flanged brass butt cap on a yellow micarta handle and the one on the listed knife.
