Description:
Grade 5 Flues model. Early gun made in the mid teens in 12 gauge. 34 inch vent rib barrel. What is really nice about these early Ithaca's is they had very heavy walled barrels. Choking is Full as with most of these single barrel traps. Beautiful bright shiny bore. Exterior has 90%+ of what I believe is an excellent re-blue? Receiver is mostly grey with some case colors showing. Very nice case colors in protected areas. Full coverage engraving with bird scenes on the side and the Eagle on the bottom of the receiver. On the later single barrel traps the Eagle was on the side. Wood is also very nice as re-varnished. LOP is 14-1/8 inches to the end of Pachmayr recoil pad. These guns are timeless. They will always be a premier trap gun. They were nearly 100 years ago and can still fill that role today.
