Description:
Winchester model 12 16 gauge pump action shotgun. Made in 1959 this model 12 has a 28” barrel with raised solid rib and Modified choke with the metal retain over 97% original blue. The stock and forearm were professionally crafted out of a spectacular piece of American Walnut by master stock maker Donnie Gemes of Show-Me Gunstocks, Warsaw, MO.; and both pieces are made in the correct Winchester pattern and checkered accordingly. Completed with Winchester grip cap and Winchester butt plate and a satin finish. Different from the 1959 version, this stock has an LOP of 14 ¾” nearly ½” longer than the original field stock! The other add-on that differs from original is the bolt and carrier have been “jeweled”. This is a really, really good looking Model 12 16 in a great configuration; and it might well be the perfect upland game gun! 7 lbs. 5 oz. Mechanically perfect. Current price on the custom wood alone is around $2,000.00!!
