Description:
***SALE PENDING*** For sale is an excellent condition Savage Model 99 chambered in .250-3000 Savage.  Has 22" barrel, solid action (not take down), front sight ramp is integral to barrel, installed Lymon 57SA rear peep on Lymon base, steel butt plate with Savage branding, brass round counter in window on side of action.  Stock is walnut with no checkering and a schnabel forend.  Serial number is in the 353,XXX dating it to the mid 1930's.  This gun was my uncle's and I honestly don't know much about it so feel free to ask questions.  I don't know all of the model variations but suspect this is an EG.

Overall condition is very good.  Bore and rifling are clean, barrel and receiver are good and free from any rust.  Bluing on barrel and receiver is really strong with only some light spots on the corners as can be expected from an almost 90 year old gun.  Walnut stock has no cracks or repairs.  There are a few honest dings in the stock from use - nothing distracting.  The schnabel forend does have one small 2mm x 2mm chip noticeable upon close inspection.  Again, for its age this gun is in great shape.

Buyer pays shipping to your FFL or C&R holder.
