Description:
This is a handsome Colt 1849 Pocket Model percussion Revolver with a 4” barrel in .31 caliber that was made in 1857 with all matching numbers. It is marked with serial number 120176 on the frame, barrel, triggerguard, backstrap and cylinder with partial numbers 20176 on the wedge and 0176 on the bottom of the arbor. The action functions properly and the bore is in very good condition. The original walnut grips fit perfectly and retain most of the factory applied varnish with very minors and dings. The nickel finish was applied long ago and remains nearly complete on the frame, barrel, cylinder and hammer with minor loss on the brass triggerguard and backstrap. The cylinder scene is visible but slightly weakened. The barrel address is strong and sharp ad is the Colts Patent on the frame and cylinder. Free, Insured, shipping to the contiguous US.
