Description:
This is a Winchester Model 1873 chambered for 38-40. The 26” tapered round barrel is patinated and uncorroded. The bore is rough but has maintained it’s rifling. The non original front sight is a fixed post and the non original rear sight is adjustable for elevation. The blued magazine tube is also patinated and undamaged. The receiver has developed a patina and has a few dings but there is no corrosion. The dust cover, hammer, trigger, and lever are also patinated and undamaged. The walnut forend and buttstock have a few scattered dings. The buttstock is mounted with a patinated crescent “trap” buttplate but does not have the cleaning rod. Length of pull is 12-¾”, overall length is 45-½”, and weight is 8.2 lbs. Our stock number is #A437. Willing to ship anywhere in the US, buyer pays freight and insurance.
