Here is a relative rarity. I have never seen one since buying it in England. The upper wooden tray and bottom compartment are lined with canvas cloth material. The upper tray has two original leather tabs to aid removal of the tray, and the tabs are in perfect condition. The lower compartment has one partition missing. The patina of the leather over the entire hardwood frame is a wonderful tan color. Label is in excellent condition. The strap and handle are original and in great shape; solid. Dimensions are 14 3/4" L x 12" W x 8" D. This may be a fishing box, but it's a practical multi-purpose case that speaks of British sporting history, quality of craftsmanship and uniqueness.
