Remains exactly as packed and shipped from the CMP on 5-14-03 in need of cleaning it appears to be VG to VG+. It has an ‘’RA 8-44’’ barrel. Though no paperwork it comes with its copy of the CMP Manual and shipping box still having its original label showing date of shipment! All information is intact except all owners personal information is removed. It is as follows: Again re-arsenaled during or after WWII the metal correctly appears to still have all period stamped parts and retains appx. 95% arsenal finish and in need of cleaning. It appears to have an excellent bore and it is doubtful it has been fired after taken out of storage and received by the CMP. The arsenal wood is very serviceable rating about VG with the stock being the ‘’semi-pistol grip style. Overall a respectable example of the Historic early WWII Remington Model 1903/A3 Rifle, Plus it comes with above CMP paperwork. *Allow extra Shipping for weight and large box.
