Description:
Remains exactly as packed and shipped from the CMP on 5-13-03 and though still packed in the storage grease and in need of de-greasing and cleaning it appears to be VG+. Also it appears to still retain its original factory ‘’RA 8-43’’ barrel. It is complete with its original CMP Invoice, shipping box and CMP furnished manual. All information is intact except all owners personal information is removed. It is as follows: Again re-arsenaled during WWII the metal still has all correct period stamped parts and retains appx. 90% to 95% arsenal finish and in fact still packed/coated with the protective grease and in need of cleaning. It is doubtful it has been fired as taken out of storage and received by the CMP. The wood is very serviceable rating about VG and even the wood set still has evidence of arsenal storage grease. It has the ‘’straight grip’’ stock. Overall quite a respectable example of the Historic early WWII Remington Model 1903/A3 Rifle, Plus it comes with above CMP paperwork.
