Also it appears to still retain its original early factory ‘’S-C 1-43’’ barrel and correct period stamped parts. It is as follows: Again re-arsenaled during WWII the metal still has all correct period stamped parts and retains appx. 90% to 95% arsenal finish and in fact still packed/coated with the protective grease and in need of cleaning. It is doubtful it has been fired as taken out of storage and received by the CMP. The wood is very serviceable rating about VG and even the wood set still has evidence of arsenal storage grease. It has the ‘’straight grip’’ stock, plus the original Remington Cartouches are still quite visable.. Overall quite a respectable example of the Historic early WWII Smith-Corona Model 1903/A3 Rifle, Plus it comes with above CMP paperwork. (*The original CMP Invoice shows this rifle serial number along with 2 others owner purchssed so it is totally documented *Just ask and we will run off a copy of its invoice to go with rifle for you. Also it comes with its CMP Manual and shipping box with original label! All information is intact except all owners personal information is removed. *Allow extra Shipping for weight and large box.
